No Gift

“Hello ma’am. Can I help you with anything?”

“Just looking for a gift for someone I’m exclusively seeing but he wants no committed relationship. Suggestion?”

“No offense, but may I take you out?”

This is my blog due to a challenge on a wonderful blog, Trifecta.

For the weekend prompt we’re asking for exactly 33 words of dialogue.

It is February 1st and the month for ‘Love Day’ as I call it. One of my favorite little holidays. I’ll share why before the next 13 days are over!

  5. Relationships, eh? The gift for writers that just keeps giving and giving. 🙂 You managed to say quite a lot in very few words. Well done. This guy is, obviously someone who thinks quickly on his feet. Whether he is just a smooth operator feeding her a line that he hopes will get him laid or else, he is a sincere guy who sees an opportunity to date a lovely, kudos to him for seizing upon the moment. Kudos to you for capturing the scene so nicely.
