Similarity

Similarity

Humorous, almost.
Everything changes
though everything
appears the same.
Somehow. Waving
friendly, same person,
same house, images
of youth forcing their way
into thoughts. Knowing
inside the hell I have
endured growing up.
Still, walking the same road,
same best friend, same
destination. Yet, each of
us have went through
ordeals we don’t attempt
explaining,  even to one
another. Life transforms
in less than a second.
Funny how the monotony
of life  becomes a
puzzle and a bore.
